Installing SQL Governor consists of the following steps:
- Preparing the server where SQL Governor and its database will reside
- Preparing the server where the proxy will reside
- Preparing the servers that will be monitored
All of these steps require some configurations, which are described in detail in the links above.
The simplest way to get started is to install the proxy on the same server as SQL Governor. However, if some of the monitored servers are on a different domain, another proxy is needed on that domain. For more configuration options, see this article.
