How to create services and customers

Services and customers are metadata about your environment which help you to filter data inside reports and on the monitoring page. Services and customers are linked to servers, instances and databases.

Creating a service

To create a service, do the following steps: 

1. Go to Settings: Metadata. 
2. Select Service settings from the dropdown. 
3. Click Add new. 
4. Type in the required fields: Service name, Service time start and Service time end. 
5. Click the OK icon. 

Creating a customer

To create a customer, do the following steps: 

1. Go to Settings: Metadata. 
2. Select Customer settings from the dropdown. 
3. Click Add new. 
4. Type in the Customer name. 
5. Click the OK icon.
